Album Art

response to  Ben Hales and Aaron Dana's post Ben Hales on Music

i have, as a music listener, always tried to appreciate the organization of songs on an album as part of the creative process. i do not claim to be a musician or songwriter, but that does not make me less qualified to appreciate good music. And, as with many things in life, good music tells a story. It certainly seems that part of any good story, be it literature or otherwise, is dependent upon its context. In the same way, the way one song leads into another on an album should be utilized to help communicate the overarching message of the album, whatever that may be.

By the way, i love Aqualung. His music always tells me stories.
