For those who may be interested in further reading on Andrew's last question above, there's a really interesting book to check out called Sponsorship: The Fine Art Of Corporate Sponsorship/the Corporate Sponsorship Of Fine Art. It's a collection of interviews with many talented, successful, and oft-sponsored artists on this very subject.

response to caroline's post Great party!
Between how we tagged our flickr pics and how other people did theirs, I'd say "newspaper20" is the best bet.

Magazine
We've been live here with www.goodmagazine.com for almost two weeks now. We hadn't really reached out and told too many people until Wednesday, when we hosted an office bbq and website launch party for friends of GOOD Magazine and Reason Pictures.
We set up our garage as a gallery to present the magazine and website, and rigged up some laptops to sign on new subscribers. Burgers and booze were served to a great crowd who finally got to see what we've been up to all this time.
See a few pics of the night here at our brand new Flickr page.
Note: we've gone for the full extent of what Creative Commons licensing has to offer, so feel free to do what you will with any of these pictures - as long as you allow others to do the same.

I've totally seen these guys around. I suppose that would be my bad for not mentioning that when we were making the magazine a little while ago.
They were at Sunset Junction, the last time I was there for sure. Perhaps they'll be back there this time.
